Swedish Grey & Why It's Great

Swedish Grey is one of those colors that no one seems to be able to get enough of. I get so many questions about it! Whether it's on the shelf or we've got some painted furniture on display, everyone loves it. At first glance, you might see that it's a 'grey' and get turned off. I assure you, this is no mucky grey!

Swedish Grey is a "greige" (grey + beige) that is heavily inspired by Swedish Gustavian painted furniture! When Jolie launched their Signature Neutrals Collection, Swedish Grey quickly became my inspiration for my future home! It's understated without being boring and adds airiness to whatever interior it decorates.

See what I mean? This is not your typical grey or beige! Below I'm adding a few inspiration photos for you so that you can choose for yourself how you think Swedish Grey is best suited to accent a home. I certainly plan on using it in my kitchen- we're painting the cabinets, people!

If you're still not convinced of the greatness of this grey, check out this video we made showing off our Paint-Shoppe Starter Kit, in which we use a combination of Swedish Grey and Antique White to improve and update the look of a set of kitchen chairs!
