After painting a piece with Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint, you will need to protect it with a topcoat. Antiquing Wax is made from beeswax with a little carnauba wax and then a Van Dyke Brown pigment is added. It is great for creating an authentically aged finish on painted furniture. The wax provides a low sheen, durable finish and has little wax odor.
How to use the Antiquing Wax: Apply wax in a thin layer with your choice of high quality SIFF waxing brushes. Use a clean lint-free cotton cloth or cheesecloth to wipe away exess wax. If you want to create additional shine and durability, apply a second coat. Clean the brush with MMS Brush Soap to keep your brushes hydrated and moisterized.
